I know I will be ask a lot of questions about the topic of my piece about the baby and the silhouette of a boy.   The image of the shadow reference something or someone missing and a loss of innocence. The title and imagery will hopefully convey message about the controversial issue of abortion. A lot of questions about my intention as an artist and my beliefs will be rise. For the most part everyone know which side they strongly hold their convictions whether for abortion or pro- life. I can not speak for those who already committed a decision but only help speak for those who can not even speak at all- the unborns. This is the start of a series of work which I will rise a lot of questions- whether I know the answers or still seeking does not matter so much as the conversation that will take place. The questions will be personal for those who care, I would not be driven to produce such work and research if I am not glue to this topic myself. Because for me these questions are not as simple, not as clear as black and white maybe even gray but I will continue to ask these questions because lives definitely at stake.
